Spring embroidery design inspiration

Lobster setting day on Prince Edward Island is an exhilarating maritime tradition that marks the start of the lobster fishing season. Community members line the beaches to watch the fishing boats set sail at dawn. The island’s coastal waters come alive with excitement and anticipation for the season. As the sun rises, the sky is painted with soft pinks, blues and yellows, creating a mesmerizing display of nature’s artistry. With these beautiful colors and the sound of fishing boat engines, the community comes together, embracing the new day with unity, hope, and a shared sense of purpose.

 

Details about this embroidery pattern

This design features a layering technique that will take a little extra patience to prep. Like anything, the prep is super important, which I have outlined in the printed guide for this design. After the prep is completed, you can get right to stitching. This spring embroidery design uses 3 foundational stitches, which is great for a beginner.
